¿Cómo hacer una Solicitud de Ciudadanía Cubana?
Pueden solicitar la ciudadanía cubana aquellas personas no nacidas en la Isla y que uno de sus padres sea cubano.

Tiempo del trámite
De 90 a 120 días hábiles para que las autoridades cubanas lo aprueben, una vez recibida toda la documentación en nuestra oficina.
¿Qué documentos se requieren?
Para solicitar la ciudadanía cubana, debe enviarnos la siguiente documentación:
- Modelo de Solicitud lleno y firmado.
- Certificado de nacimiento original del solicitante emitido por el Registro Especial del Ministerio de Justicia.
- Foto de pasaporte reciente.
- Fotocopia del pasaporte extranjero de nacimiento válido y vigente del solicitante. Si consta de una prórroga debe enviar fotocopia de la página donde consta la misma.
- Fotocopia de los pasaportes válidos y vigentes de los padres del solicitante (el padre o madre cubano debe presentar la fotocopia de su pasaporte cubano).
- Fotocopia del certificado de nacimiento del padre o madre no-cubano. Si esta fallecido, fotocopia del certificado de defunción, lo que sustituirá la copia del pasaporte extranjero válido y vigente.
- Certificado de nacimiento original del padre o madre cubano. Si es fallecido, debe presentar certificado de defunción original, además del certificado de nacimiento original.
- Si el padre o madre cubano emigró antes del 71 y no se ha confeccionado nunca un pasaporte cubano nuevo tiene que aportar fotocopia del documento que demuestre que emigró antes de esa fecha y fotocopia de pasaporte extranjero válido y vigente.
- En el caso de los menores de 18 años, de no estar presente alguno de los padres debe presentarse una escritura de autorización del padre o la madre (no presente), debidamente autenticado por el Departamento de Estado Federal. Si el padre o madre no reside en EEUU. Se debe presentar un poder notarial de consentimiento para que su hijo menor adquiera la Ciudadanía Cubana a través del Consulado de Cuba en su país de residencia.

¿Qué pasos debe realizar para Aplicar Online?
- Completar toda la información que se solicita.
- Realizar el pago del servicio mediante tarjetas de crédito/débito. Usted recibirá una confirmación del pago realizado.
- Firmar y subir su foto de forma electrónica, según las indicaciones que se ofrecen. CAMBIAR POR Firmar y adjuntar fotocopia o foto de los documentos requeridos para su trámite.
Tramison le hará llegar por email el Label (etiqueta) de Fedex para que usted pueda enviar sus documentos originales a nuestra Oficina Central en Washington D.C.
Tramison lo mantendrá informado en todo momento del estado de su trámite. Cuando éste concluya, se le notificará el número de tracking del envío de su pasaporte o documento solicitado, para que usted pueda conocer la trayectoria hasta su destino final.
